Ingredients

These crescent styled potstickers are filled with a flavoursome blend of chicken, cabbage, green onions and leeks seasoned with a special blend of seasonings.

Cooking Instructions

Cook from frozen. Do not thaw.

PAN-FRY (Recommended — for crispy golden bottoms):
1.Heat 1–2 tablespoons of neutral oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

2. Place frozen potstickers flat-side down in a single layer, spaced slightly apart.

3. Fry for 2–3 minutes until the bottoms are lightly golden.

4. Carefully add ⅓ cup (80 mL) of water to the pan and immediately cover with a tight-fitting lid. Caution: oil and water will splatter.

5. Reduce heat to medium-low and steam for 7–9 minutes, until the water has fully evaporated.

6. Remove the lid, increase heat to medium, and cook for a further 1–2 minutes until the bottoms are crispy and deep golden brown.

7. Serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce.

STEAM:
1. Line a bamboo or metal steamer basket with parchment paper or cabbage leaves.

2. Arrange frozen potstickers in the basket, leaving about ¾ inch (2 cm) of space between each.

3. Place the steamer over a wok or pot with ½ inch (1 cm) of simmering water.

4. Cover and steam for 8–10 minutes, until the wrappers look slightly puffy and translucent.

5. Serve directly from the steamer.

BOIL:
1. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.

2. Carefully drop in frozen potstickers one at a time and stir immediately with a slotted spoon to prevent sticking.

3. Once the water returns to a boil, add ¼ cup (60 mL) of cold water. Repeat each time the water returns to a boil.

4. Cook for 7–8 minutes total, until the potstickers float and the wrappers are tender.

5. Remove with a slotted spoon, drain, and serve.
