Guide to Cutting Your Own Striploin Steaks:

  1. Prepare Your Tools: Make sure you have a sharp chef’s knife or a butcher’s knife, and a clean cutting board.
  2. Remove from Packaging: Take the whole striploin out of the packaging and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Trim the Fat: If there is any excess fat or silver skin on the surface, trim it off. However, leave some fat for flavor.
  4. Decide on Steak Thickness: Determine how thick you want your steaks. For a classic steak, aim for about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
  5. Start Cutting: Place the striploin so that it’s stable on the cutting board. Begin cutting from one end, using smooth, confident strokes. Follow through each cut completely before starting the next.
  6. Wrap and Store: If you’re not cooking all the steaks immediately, wrap them individually in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator if using within 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.

With the Whole AA/AAA Canadian Striploin, you’re not just making dinner; you’re crafting an experience. Every slice, every sizzle, and every savory bite celebrates your culinary creativity. So grab your knife and let’s get cutting – gourmet homemade steaks are on the menu tonight!

Striploin

Had to think a bit on how to word this review.
The striploin was great ! The issue was when I got it the weight was 3.46 KG not the 7 or 8 I was expecting!
The good news is after sending pics to Valley Direct they were all over getting a refund to me quickly . I honestly would have preferred to be given the opportunity to buy 7kg at the sale price and still would !
