David Doran Valley Direct Sausage Roll Country Style

Joan Marriott Great flavour without being overbearing. My household strongly prefers savoury rather than spicy. I cook these sausage rolls in my table top convection oven. First few minutes are cooked with the seam side down then turned over to continue cooking. Often turned over once more when I rotate the angle of the sausage roll to ensure even cooking and a fully puffed up and uniformly golden brown colour to the puff pastry. I often shorten the cooking time by allowing the frozen product to partially thaw before cooking a few minutes later. These sausage rolls are a regular favourite in my household. I probably order a box every month now.
