YUMMY, these cookies baked up nicely by following the directions on the packaging box. Then I discovered that everyone in my household is an expert at critiquing and imagine that they are master bakers. One person likes ultra soft cookies and another likes cookies with firmness and that are crisp. Pans of cookies get cooked for slightly varied time lengths to achieve these textures. Now I receive help in the kitchen to remove the warm cookies to the cooling racks to ensure the softest textures. The most recent request is to cut the cookie dough in half so the person thinks that they ate more cookies. I haven't tried that yet because in just two weeks the entire large box of cookies has been baked and consumed. Yes I manage a few cookies to taste but, it was a case of every cookie monster for him or her self. I took to hiding cookies from the adults in my household.
