Tasty Chicken Thighs in Quantity

Have your preferred size packaging supplies at the ready when the fresh box is delivered. I have help with muscles to lift the 10kg box onto a suitable height work surface. I have my food safe gloves ready and my storage bags arranged open on my stainless steel cookie sheet trays. The week before I have made space available in my deep freezer. To package 10kg of chicken thighs took me 8 large freezer bags and just over one hour of consistent effort. I put 6 or 7 thighs per bag depending on size. I don't waste time weighing as this is my home use. After depositing in the deep freezer in a manner that allows for even and quick freezing and the workspace clean up and packaging disposal I was tired. If I had a non alcoholic beer I would have enjoyed it as a reward.
